Executive Summary
Government announced its intention to develop a UK Strategy for nanotechnologies in its 2009 response to the Royal Commission on Environmental Pollution’s report, Novel materials
in the Environment: The case of Nanotechnology.
This Strategy has been informed by the views of those involved with nanotechnologies from a
wide range of interested parties across academia, industry and non-Governmental organisations.
