This plan sets out the focus for investment in research in the biological industries sector for the 2012 investment round.  Targeted consultation with end-users, government agencies and research providers was undertaken to identify and refine the focus for investment.  The plan considers ways to maximise the impact of recent and current government investment in research, through greater knowledge and technology transfer, and seeks to address new research priorities that are not funded via other mechanisms..
