The NMR Centre for Structural Biology is located in purpose-built accommodation adjacent to the Biosciences Building. The Centre houses one 800 MHz and one 600 MHz solution-state spectrometer, both equipped with cryogenic probeheads. There is also an associated computing laboratory in the Centre dedicated to data processing and analysis.

 

The Centre has an array of biophysical techniques such as isothermal titration calorimetry, surface plasmon resonance and fluorimetry (plate reader and cuvette modes) that supports the NMR methodology. In addition, the Centre has considerable expertise in the production of highly purified recombinant proteins.
