This meeting is currently oversubscribed (full). You may still an application. However, it will only be considered by the Conference Chair if more seats become available due to cancellations.
Meeting Deion
Overview
The Gordon Research Seminar on Staphylococcal Diseases is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and ex new data and cutting edge ideas.
The of this meeting is to encourage young scientists, students, and post-docs to present cutting-edge research on S. aureusand coagulase-negative staphylococcus and the diseases they cause. The meeting will provide opportunities for junior scientists and graduate students to present their latest findings and novel methods for input and discussion with experts with a broad array of knowledge and skills. The collegial atmosphere of this meeting will provide an opportunity for early-stage scientists to brainstorm and provide critical analysis to promote the advancement of the field. Along with the latest science, this meeting will also provide information on career advancement.
Application Instructions
The meeting will feature approximately 10 talks and 2 poster sessions. All attendees are expected to actively participate in the GRS either by giving an oral presentation or presenting a poster. Therefore, all applications must include an abstract.
The Chairs will speakers from abstracts ted by April 11, 2015. Those applicants who are not chosen for talks and those who apply after the deadline to be considered for an oral presentation will be expected to present a poster. In order to participate, you must an application by the date indicated in the Application Deadline section above.
