제10회 아시아코드 서울 국제 심포지움 개최
탯줄혈액(제대혈)을 이용한 최신 연구 동향에 관한 심포지움이 개최됩니다. 본 심포지움에서는 아시아 탯줄혈액은행을 대표하는 아시아코드(AsiaCord) 대표자들이 모두 참석하여 아시아코드의 최신 현황을 발표하며, 또한 미국 탯줄혈액은행을 대표하는 NMDP 관계자와 유럽 탯줄은행을 대표하는 NetCord 관계자들이 참석하여 전 세계 각국의 혈액종양 한자 치료 및 연구 교류에 관한 내용들을 발표할 예정입니다. 또한 탯줄혈액을 이용한 유수한 연자의 혈액종양 연구결과 발표 뿐만 아니라 탯줄혈액 줄기세포를 이용한 Stem Cell Therapy에 관한 최신 연구 동향에 관한 내용도 함께 다루어질 예정이오니 많은 관심과 참석 부탁드립니다.
아시아코드 심포지움은 지금까지 8회를 일본 동경대학에서 주최해 왔고, 1회를 북경대학에서 주최하였습니다. 처음으로 한국 주관으로 개최되어지는뜻깊은 이번 학회에 많은 관심과 참여를 부탁드립니다.
AsiaCord(아시아코드) 란?
아시아코드는 유전인자가 비슷한 아시아 환자들을 우선적으로 치료하기 위해 2000년 6월에 결성되어진 탯줄혈액은행 연합회로 한국을 포함하여 일본, 중국, 대만, 태국, 베트남의 6개국이 함께 참여하고 있습니다. 현재 회장국은 중국의 북경대학이며, 총무국은 일본 동경대학이 담당하고 있습니다. 아시아코드는 각국, 각도시의 탯줄은행 자료를 검색할 수 있는 유일한 통로이며, 이를 통하여 세계에서 가장 큰 네트워크인 NetCord(유럽연맹체)와도 연결되어집니다.
