Enzymes, Coenzymes & Metabolic Pathways- Mechanistic And Structural Characterization Of Enzymes With Relevance To Biochemical Pathways And Novel Therapeutics
This conference will explore in detail current topics and questions in enzymology and biochemical pathways. The conference seeks to integrate aspects of enzyme structures and chemical mechanisms with the understanding of cellular signaling and biochemical pathways, and the progression of enzyme inhibitors as novel medicines. This year’s conference will return to its long-standing emphasis on enzymatic mechanisms and co-enzymes, particularly those involved in biological oxidations. The conference will feature well-known leaders from both the academic and industrial fields, as well as provide a speaking forum for emerging scientific leaders. This meeting will include sessions on the elucidation of enzymatic mechanisms from kinetic isotope effects, enzyme structure and molecular dynamics, steady-state kinetic methods, the role of enzymes in drug discovery, flavoproteins, and will highlight analysis of metabolic pathways including those of purines and pyrimidines.
