2014 Wando International Marine Algal Symposium

Title: Seaweeds for Future Industry
This is to invite you to 2014 Wando International Marine Algal Symposium, held in April 16-19, 2014, as a part of 2014 Wando Seaweeds Expo (running for a month). The symposium is organized together with our domestic annual conference of The Korean Society of Phycology.
The theme of this international symposium is on “Seaweeds for Future Industry”.
The symposium includes 4 plenary lectures and 4 special sessions covering various applications, aquacultures and industry using seaweeds and microalgae. We are looking for around 20-30 foreign participants and over 300 domestic people.
Wando is the most productive place in Korea for seaweed aquaculture and abalones too.
Field trip to major aquaculture farms is also scheduled on Saturday, April 19, which you may be interested. Your participation will be helpful to us for the successful symposium. I believe that this will also be a good opportunity for you to share your knowledge and experience with many other participants.
