AALAS 67th National Meeting

Each fall since 1950, the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science has held its annual National Meeting. During the five days of the meeting, members and nonmembers come together to enjoy the workshops, lectures, poster sessions, and exhibits. The program is designed to have topics relevant to the entire membership. Exhibitors have an opportunity to interact with AALAS members from the academic community, research institutions, government organizations, and commercial companies. The AALAS National Meeting is the largest gathering in the world of professionals concerned with the production, care, and use of laboratory animals.

Travel Award DEADLINE EXTENDED!!

Kent Scientific has extended our Travel Award deadline to July 31, 2016.

Two (2) lucky people will be ed to attend the National AALAS 2016 meeting. This is an excellent opportunity for those who would normally not attend the meeting, allowing them to broaden their experience through workshops, lectures, poster sessions and exhibits.

October 30 - November 3, 2016

Each winner will be awarded a check for $1,000 to cover costs of attending AALAS. The winners must be present at the meeting to receive their award.

Requirements to Apply:

• Open to U.S. residents who are laboratory animal science professionals (e.g. Animal Care Technicians, Veterinary Technicians, Principal Investigators, etc.)
• Application Deadline: July 31, 2016
