3D cell culture models are challenging if you are using assay chemistries and imaging methods designed for 2D cell culture models. In this webinar, we will present important factors to consider when designing and optimizing assays used with 3D cell culture models, describe the design of reagents that overcome difficulties in detecting markers from 3D culture models and share applications of novel real-time detection methods.
Specifically we will address:
- Designing detection reagents and appropriate controls to confirm lysis of all cells in 3D culture model systems
- Measuring markers released into culture medium
- Penetration of small molecule probes to interrogate 3D structures
- The potential to apply real-time multiplex detection methods with 3D models for high throughput screening
