We invite researchers from across the globe to their most stunning spatial biology images obtained with one or more of NanoString’s spatial biology instruments: GeoMx DSP® and CosMx SMI™. Winning entries will be awarded the following:


  • One winner per region will be win a travel grant of up to USD $1500 to attend a scientific conference of their choice within their region (North America, Europe-Middle East-Africa, Asia-Pacific-Japan) in 2024 to present the results obtained with the NanoString platform. Their images will be featured on the calendar cover.

  • Twelve additional participants will have their tissue image featured as part of our 2024 Spatial Biology Calendar and distributed all over the world. Note: All images will be credited to the person ting them.

Competition Guidelines

  • Entries must be images of tissue or cells generated using GeoMx® DSP or CosMx™ SMI

  • Images must be ted using the online form below. The entrant must accept that their image may be used for marketing purposes by NanoString, and agree to all other contest terms and conditions.

  • Images can be tissue images, data representation or a combination of both.

  • The image file format must be .jpeg or .eps. The image should be high resolution: at 300 dpi and at least 16 inches/40 cm wide. Images should not be part of published work unless the publication in question is deemed “open access” by the journal. 

  • Alongside your image, you will be requested to provide additional information.
