The role of public research organizations in the change of the national innovation system in Finland
The advisory board for sectoral research commenced the study about the role of public research organizations (PROs) in the change of the national innovation system in Finland on November 2008. The aim of this study is to respond to the lack of knowledge by mapping and generating analytical information about the public research organisations and the actual changes they are facing in Finland. The aim is also to identify the central gaps in the knowledge and thus to provide the information about the central research needs relating to the subject.
