개요
생명공학은 21세기 경제성장을 주도할 핵심 산업으로 부각되고 있으며, 우리가 당면하고 있는 인류 공통의 과제들을 해결할 수 있는 도구와 방법을 제공할 수 있으리라 기대하고 있습니다. 이에 선진국들은 지난 수십 년간 생명공학을 핵심전략기술로 판단하여 관련 연구 및 기술개발에 대한 투자를 점차적으로 늘려왔으며 핵심원천기술개발을 선점하기 위한 각국의 경쟁이 매우 치열한 분야라고 할 수 있습니다.
이에 국가생명공학정책연구센터에서는 BT 핵심기술들을 선별하여 이러한 BT 핵심기술들에 대한 특허, 논문 및 시장정보 분석과 국내외 총괄 기술발전도를 작성하여 관련 분야의 기술개발 동향을 한눈에 파악할 수 있도록 정리하고자“BT 기술동향 보고서”를 주기적으로 발간하고 있습니다. BT분야 핵심기술 동향보고서 발간을 통하여 제공되는 국가 BT 정책 추진 현황 및 R&D 활동현황, 국내외 BT 동향과 전망 등에 대한 체계적인 정보는 생명공학 전문가, 관련 기업, 그리고, 정부의 생명 공학 정책입안자들에게 유용한 정책 자료로 활용될 수 있으리라 기대 하고 있습니다.
본 보고서는 42번째로 발간되는 국가생명공학정책연구센터 총서 이며 12번째로 발간되는 기술동향 보고서로서 “유전체연구 및 활용 기술”에 대한 내용을 담고 있습니다. 관련 기술전문가들의 연구를
수행함에 있어 미약하나마 도움이 되시기를 바라며 앞으로 보다 양질의 분석자료를 제공하도록 노력하겠습니다.
