2017 Keystone Symposia 참관기

 
[요약문]

2017년 1월 29일부터 2월 2일까지 Keystone에서 주관하여 Epigenetics and Human Disease Progress from mechanisms to Therapeutics라는 이름의 학회가 미국 시애틀의 쉐라톤 호텔(Sheraton Hotel, Seattle, Washington)에서 진행되었다. 본 학회는 이름에 맞게 Johnathan R. Whetstine (Massachusetts General Hospital, USA), Jessica K. Tyler (Weill Cornell Medicine, USA) 등 질병에 대한 후성유전학적 연구를 활발히 하는 연구자들이 주축이 되어 20개국에서 300명이 넘는 연구자들이 모였고, 약 50명의 lecture와 150개가 넘는 poster session을 통해 본 연구분야에 대한 활발한 토론과 이해를 높이는 장이 되었다.
