개요

1. 인플루엔자 연구개요

인플루엔자 바이러스는 숙주에게 감염성의 급성 열성 호흡기 질환을 발병시키고, 유행시 그 전염성이 강하여 그 전파가 국경을 쉽게 넘을 수 있으며, 예측하기 어려운 방향으로 다양하게 변이되어 이종간의 감염을 나타날 수 있어, 전 세계적인 공동 대응책 마련과 감시체계의 필요성이 증대되고 있음

 

가. 인플루엔자란?
1) 인플루엔자의 정의 및 특징
􀂆 인플루엔자(Influenza, 독감)는 인플루엔자바이러스에 의해서 발병되는 급성 감염상 질환으로, 높은 전염성을 가지며 매년 세계적 규모의 유행을 일으킴
○ 대표적인 증상은 고열과 두통, 근육통이며, 인후의 염증, 통증, 기침 등의 호흡기 증상을 수반함
○ 인플루엔자 바이러스에 감염 시, 건강한 사람은 가벼운 증상만 보이고 회복될 수 있으나, 노약자, 만성질환 보유자, 그리고 타 질환을 겪고 있는 환자는 심할 경우 합병증에 의한 사망에 이를 수도 있음
􀂆 인플루엔자는 바이러스의 유전자 변이(항원변이)의 정도에 따라 계절형 유행과 대유행으로 나뉨
○ 계절형 유행(epidemic)은 항원소변이(antigenic drift)에 의한 것이며, 주로 겨울철에 유행......계속
